Terms of Service

By using WAHandles you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

WAHandles is a peer-to-peer marketplace and escrow facilitator for WhatsApp usernames. We are not WhatsApp or Meta, and we are not affiliated with them. We do not own, transfer, or guarantee any username — we hold buyer funds in escrow until both parties confirm the handover.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter contracts in your jurisdiction.

3. Listings

Sellers must own the listed handle and prove ownership via the WAHandles verification code. Misrepresentation results in immediate listing removal and may result in account termination.

4. Escrow & payments

Crypto payments are processed by NOWPayments. Funds are held by WAHandles in escrow and released to the seller only after the buyer confirms receipt of the handle, or after an escrow agent resolves a dispute. Network and processor fees are non-refundable.

5. Disputes

Either party may open a dispute while an escrow is funded or transferring. An escrow agent will review chat and evidence and either release funds to the seller or refund the buyer.

The service is provided "as is". WhatsApp may suspend or recover handles at its discretion; we cannot reverse those actions. See the risk disclosure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WAHandles' liability for any claim is limited to the escrow fees you paid in the prior 12 months.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
